Our first ‘Stars of the week’
On Friday Bailey and Codie-Louise won the first title of “Stars of the Week.”
This is something we started last Monday. Over the week the children are given star stamps against their name for good work, kindness, listening, or any other kind of fantastic behaviour. On the Friday afternoon we count up the stars and the child with the most stars (one from Poppies, one from Blue) becomes star of the week. This means that they get their picture on the star board, get a certificate to take home and wear the star of the week badge for the following week. More importantly, they get to choose something from the treasure tin. The children tried hard to gain their stars last week, but after Bailey and Codie-Louise’s success (and a look at what’s in the treasure tin!) they have been trying even harder this week!
